3. Distinguished Club Program  overview

Membership is a key to being a distinguished club.  Clubs with 20 members and 5 DCP points by June 30 are distinguished.  Clubs with a net gain of three members over their base also qualify with 5 DCP points.  Completing path levels and adding members are two ways to collect DCP points. What are the proven ways of adding to membership?  First, publicity.  If members invite friends and co-workers to meetings, then a club can succeed.  Formalized approaches also work.  Two tried and true approaches are the open house (4 documents from Katy Hursh, Google Drive)  and Speechcraft.

4. "Toastmaster Of the Year"  details (see page 5)
Club presidents select toastmasters of the year for their clubs.  Area directors select toastmaster of the year for their area.  There is also district leadership recognition of area directors, etc.  Various checklists to aid decision making are linked above.
